At Dharma Vida, nature is part of every day: mountain air, tropical gardens, birdsong and the sound of flowing water. Enjoy the simple pleasure of a beautiful walk, a satisfying yoga practice, a fresh meal and an afternoon with time to spare.
An invitation to feel alive and let yourself unwind.
Good yoga. Genuine attention.
An intimate group gives us time to care for each person.
Antoinette and Isabelle bring experienced, thoughtful yoga teaching, with guidance adapted to your body and your practice. Isabelle looks after the journey and your comfort with warmth and attention.
Together, we create a welcoming atmosphere where you can ask questions, try something new, take a gentler option or simply rest.
Women and men are equally welcome, whether travelling alone, as a couple or with a friend. Expect shared laughter, good conversations and room for quiet, too.
Follow the trails. Enjoy the moment.
Our walks and hikes celebrate the pleasure of being outdoors. Forest paths, mountain views and waterfall stops give us plenty to discover, at a comfortable pace.
Most outings involve around one to two hours of walking, with pauses to look, listen and enjoy. Where conditions allow, an optional dip in a river or natural pool adds a little freshness to the adventure.
We adapt our days to the weather and the group, making the most of this exceptional environment.
A rhythm that feels good
Mornings begin with yoga, meditation or breathing, sometimes in the open air before a walk. A chance to wake up the body and settle the mind.
After breakfast, we explore or deepen our practice. Afternoons leave time to read, relax or enjoy an optional massage. Later, gentle yoga and shared meals bring us together again.
Movement, discovery and rest, with space to enjoy all three.
Slow mornings, open afternoons, soft evenings.
The rhythm is gentle on purpose. Nothing is mandatory. The day flows around you, not the other way around.
You can do every session, or spend a whole afternoon in the hammock. Both are right.
Day by day
Every day has its own texture — arrival, depth, silence, expansion, integration. Here's what unfolds.
01 Wednesday, February 10 · Arrive & Exhale
Settle in, meet the group and enjoy a gentle opening practice, followed by a welcome dinner.
02 Thursday, February 11 · Breathe & Explore
Morning practice and a gentle discovery walk through the gardens and nearby trails. Free time after lunch, then softer yoga to close the afternoon.
03 Friday, February 12 · Follow the Water
Mindful movement before a scenic guided outing, with a waterfall or riverside stop where conditions permit. Optional bathing, time to rest and gentle stretching on return.
04 Saturday, February 13 · Make Space
A fuller morning of yoga and breathwork. Enjoy a short walk, a quiet afternoon or an optional individual treatment before restorative evening practice.
05 Sunday, February 14 · Walk & Connect
Another beautiful nature outing, good company and time to enjoy the surroundings. A closing practice and farewell dinner celebrate our days together.
06 Monday, February 15 · Carry It Home
A final gentle practice, breakfast and goodbyes, with beautiful memories and simple practices to take home.
The programme follows the weather, trail conditions and the needs of the group. Walking routes and waterfall visits will be confirmed after our scouting visit. Bathing is optional and depends on suitable local conditions.

Dharma Vida Retreat Center
Six hand built cabins spread across fifteen acres, each with its own deck and its own view. Teak and local hardwood, orthopedic beds, hot water, and windows that open onto forest rather than a corridor. One has a fireplace and a soaking tub. One is a loft above the old rancho, reached by a ladder, for whoever wants it.
Shared ground: an open sided yoga shala, a round meditation temple, a communal dining hall built around one long table, a reading lounge, an open air tea and coffee station beside a wood fired oven, a zen pond, and trails that end at waterfalls. All water on the property is spring water sourced on site.
Rooms are allocated when you book. Tell us who you are travelling with and we will place you well.
This retreat is for you if...
If you enjoy nature, want to move and also love your comforts, you will feel at home here.
Yoga welcomes beginners and experienced practitioners, with options throughout. For the walks, a basic level of fitness and comfort walking for up to two hours on uneven ground are recommended.
Bring your walking shoes, your curiosity and your swimsuit. There will be time to explore and time to put your feet up.

Two friends, one trail.
